YOUR DAY TO DAY

 

  • Facilitate the procurement of industrial racking materials and other supplies, ensuring timely delivery and optimal cost-effectiveness.
  • Establish, nurture, and manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and pricing.
  • Continuously assess and manage supply chain risks, identifying and executing strategies for mitigation.
  • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to forecast supply needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, potential suppliers, and emerging opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders and maintain documentation for audit purposes.
  • Monitor inventory levels, facilitating replenishment actions as necessary.
  • Address discrepancies between purchase orders and deliveries, working closely with vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
 

YOU HAVE

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the industrial racking or related industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to establish and maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively across departments.
